    Once I managed to place my order it was first class. The problem was in checking out; apparently the website doesn’t like pre-populated fields so despite every field being completed I was unable to check out and umpteen error messages told me I hadn’t completed various fields which I manifestly had done. It took an email asking for help to establish what the problem was. Website needs bringing up to date.

    I knew what to expect. The many cross references make for a difficult read……. even more so for a beginner. It must be possible to make the rules/laws more intelligible
    but still rigorous.

    So very difficult for me to fully understand. I just wanted to know the faults which might occur in the game and the penalties thereafter in simple layman’s terms. I decided not to refer to the book but watch the Basingstoke Croquet video instead. The book might suit the professional player but not me. I play for sheer enjoyment but also like to know the rules of the game without the task of wading through such detailed and seemingly complicated explanations.

    It err… contains the rules! Perhaps a more robust cover would be helpful to keep it looking pristine for longer as (presumably) many folk will deploy it when playing…

    Being a ‘tekky phobe’ I was having difficulty in purchasing these up-to-date ‘WCF Rule Book for Golf Croquet’ booklets for my club.
