These mallets are a hybrid between the Original and Evolution mallets. The lighter handle concentrates the weight in the head of the mallet which improves the pendulum swing characteristics of the mallet.

Heads

The heads are made from beautiful Asian hardwood with inlaid sighting lines of sycamore. The timber is semi processed and air dried before having an inlaid sighting line and 12mm ‘Tufnol’ end plates fitted. Tufnol is widely recognized as being the most satisfactory material for use on the striking area of a croquet mallet. These end plates are virtually unbreakable and provide a crisp and true surface for striking the ball.

The standard mallet head measures 9 1/4" long x 2 3/8" wide x 2 1/2" high (23.5cmx6.0cmx6.5cm).

Longer head lengths 10", 11" and 12" can be ordered but will incur an additional £10.00 charge.

You also have the option of ordering a mallet with all the fixtures necessary for detatching the head (+£50.00).

Handles

The carbon fibre shaft is foam filled to minimise vibration and covered with EVA foam grip. This grip is lightweight, waterproof and very durable. The top section of the handle is shaped to an octagonal pattern (dimensions 31mm x 27mm). The separate 8" lower roll grip handle is turned to an attractive and comfortable shape.
